Before you can create an WordPress Website you will have to create an MySQL user – How to create a MySQL User for WordPress
We assume that you already have hosting and that you are logged into your cPanel account.
In your cPanel Dashboard scroll down to Databases and click on MySQL Databases

First you have to create a Database and user. For this exercise we will name the Database Website and the user User1
Fill in the username and create user by clicking on the Create database icon

Now we need to add the user and give the user permissions.

Name the user and create a strong password.
Finally we need to give the new user permissions. By doing this simply go to Add user to Database and click Add.

You will now be redirected to the Privilege page and in the top left corner check the All Privileges’ button
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Make Changes

You are now done with setting up the MySQL Database. You can return to the main menu in your cPanel.
